On gathering

Rain pitter patter

Yellow streetlights dancing everywhere

A car hits his blackness

Fine dust unfiltered

Prosceniums hung

An obsidian teardrop goes

What do you mean

A toupee

She binds her t-shirt shut

Bloated --

Salty self-fragilization

For the hatred of photo-graphy

Summer heat

Bodyglow

The flicker of a moth’s whiskers

Afros big

Paintbrushes

I thought it was something else

Twilight still

zero

A door swings perfectly closed

Heartbeat loud

Desire made errantry

Something rustles the only tree

Deeper

And deeper still

You were death by ocean kiss

At dusk

a column of light floods in

His black skin, deadly

Years apart

White folks in the unknown

The baker, watches
